RENO HISTORIC RACES – REQUEST FOR CREDENTIALS

Welcome to the Reno Historic Races at the Reno-Fernley Raceway! The event, now in its fourth year, delivers an exciting blend of historic production and special purpose-built racecars, featuring racing by some of the most celebrated vintage cars in history.

Out of an entry list of more than 100 esteemed historic racecars will be a score of H-Mod cars (better known today as the D/SR class). The event’s special guest will be Reno resident Tony Settember, one of only a handful of American drivers to have ever participated in Formula One racing. The Reno Historic Races is a fundraiser for The National Automobile Museum (The Harrah Collection), located in downtown Reno.

We need to receive your media credential request for this event by April 27, 2007.

Credentials are issued to members of the working press who qualify according to the following criteria:

• Credentials are issued to recognized publications/media only. Freelancers must be on assignment from a recognized publication.
• Requests may be e-mailed or sent, but either way must contain the name of reporter/photographer; and the name of the recognized media assigning the request.
• Credential assignments are subject to the approval of the Reno Historic Race Committee.
• Credentials are non-transferable. Any violation of this will result in credentials being revoked.

All credential requests must be received no later than April 27, 2008. You will be notified as to the status of your request, with registration details, by email.
