Introducing
Bravo Marco Bravo
2004 Puglia Rosso IGT

Produced by Gregory Perucci at his Accademia Dei Racemi estate in
Puglia.
Gregory has made a name for himself running his Puglian estates (Alcione,
Giravolta,
Sinfarosa and Torre Guaceto) with skill and passion while he dedicates
himself to
rescuing old vines and indigenous grapes of historical significance
and preserves them for
future generations.
Bravo Marco Bravo Rosso represents a bit of the old world as well
as a strong entry into
the new world of Italian wine. Utilizing a unique and exciting blend
of Sangiovese and a
touch of Primitivo, Bravo Marco Bravo Rosso is a warm and friendly
Southern Italian
red made from grapes located in the Manduria section of Puglia, the
heel of the Italian
boot.
With total control of the entire process from the vine to the bottle,
Gregory and his staff
are able to preserve all of the vibrant flavors developed in the vineyard
so that Bravo
Marco Bravo Rosso reaches our shores ready to be enjoyed and appreciated
by the
American public.
On a personal note, the inspiration for Bravo Marco Bravo Rosso is
Mark Cesario who
is the autistic son of wine industry veteran, Michael Cesario of The
Bravo Wine
Company based in Reno, Nevada. Michael will donate a minimum of $6
for each case
sold of Bravo Marco Bravo to the Doug Flutie Junior Foundation for
Autism to help
fund service, education and advocacy for those affected by Autism
and Michael’s first
year contribution goal has been set at $50,000.
Tasting Notes – Deep purple in color with fresh, jammy and youthful
